Ironshore Capital, LLC was formed 2007 to invest in value-oriented real estate opportunities. Ironshore’s operating principals have an average of more than 25 years’ experience in residential and commercial real estate investment and development. The firm’s capital is provided primarily by institutional investors. Ironshore is an all-cash, non-leveraged buyer with management in place to take advantage of opportunities across the Southeastern United States.
Ironshore Capital’s investment philosophy is to target quality real estate assets with long-term, fundamental value. We strive to limit the risk of capital loss within our investment portfolio through rigorous due diligence and active asset management. When we make an investment in a new asset or a new market, we seek to build high quality project management teams to preserve and enhance the asset’s fundamental value. Nobody can predict with certainty where the real estate markets are heading tomorrow we certainly cannot. Rather, we invest based on thorough research to identify fundamental value, a sound asset strategy, and sufficient financial and human capital to vigorously execute that strategy.
Ironshore Capital has wide flexibility in structuring deals, including the ability to acquire assets outright, to invest in and manage distressed bank portfolios, or to invest as a lender to or joint venture participant with an operating partner. We have no investment limitations as to maximum deal size or maximum investment term. We have ready access to capital and the capability to underwrite and close transactions quickly and discreetly.
